Primary Key Constraint – Project Online / Project Server

Hello guys,

Today when I publish my Project Plan I received an error related to the SharePoint site.

Error: ” ReportingWssTransferLinksFailed (24019) –  Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint ‘PK_MSP_WssListItemAssociation’. Cannot insert duplicate key in object ‘pjrep.MSP_WssListItemAssociation’… ”

To fix this error follow this steps:

  1. Go to the Server Settings -> Connected SharePoint Sites and Select the row of the site with issue and click on Edit Site Address.
  2. Select ‘Unlink the SharePoint site from the project‘ and click OK.

Now create a new site for this project clicking on Create Site. After the site is created, publish the Project Plan.

It will work fine now.

Now we need to go back with the old site.

  1. Go back to the Server Settings -> Connected SharePoint Sites and Select the project again, but now click on Delete Site.
  2. After deleted, click on Edit Site Address and Type the site URL for the old site and click OK.

And it’s done. Now you can publish again your Project Plan without problems.

I hope it helped you

See you
